My client is an established supplier to high street and online fashion retailers across multiple product areas and apparel.Check all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, driven and experienced designer to join the apparel design team. You will be responsible for trend research, designing and development of the products, and providing integral support with the factories, but also the wider design team.This full-time posistion is based on site in the Leicester Office -no hybrid workingDesigner- Licensed Apparel - The Role Generate and maintain a high standard of design within the customer and brief, adhering to strict deadlinesStay up to date with latest trends by attending regular store visits, and shop reportsMaintain design developmentCoordinate with the Account Manager to ensure price needs are met at the design stageLiaise with the technical team to ensure specs are a correct representation of the designCreate and send new sample requests, clear and detailed tech packs, style details and artwork to the factoriesDevelop an in-depth knowledge of the customer base when creating designsRespond to customer and factory queriesLiaise with Licensors and assist with checking License approvals including concept, strike offs and PP sample uploads obtaining full product approvalDesigner - Licensed Apparel- The Candidate Previous licensing experience IdealEducated to degree level in fashion, or fashion related graphic / print designCreative and trend drivenExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalTeam player and able to build relationshipsApplicants must have full permanent Right to Work status in the UK.We regret that due to the high amount of interest that we receive for each of our vacancies, if you do not hear from one of our consultants within 5 days then unfortunately you have not been shortlisted for this role.
