Our expertise in innovative product design and merchandising allows Bioworld to create and deliver products as distinctive as the brands themselves, which makes us the global leader in Licensed products to all levels of retail distribution.SummaryWe have an exciting opportunity in our developing Bioworld team for a Logistics Manager.With this role you have the opportunity to shape and enhance the logistics department structure, procedures as our business grows.ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage the logistics teamEstablish a logistics Ways of Working for UK and offshore officesMonitor freight costs and negotiate prices; update landed cost prices where appropriateEnsure that all aspects of import logistics administration are compliant, including Incoterms, VAT and Duty; maintain duty rates for the business, ensuring these are up to date for any changes and new products.Manage the invoice verification in the area of shipping and import manage communication with Finance DepartmentMarket Analysis for possible PartnersLiaise and work with internal departments to ensure order, work scope, and service level complianceLiaise with clients, build relationships and maximise the potential of the forwarding business.RequirementsBe customer focussed with determination and willingness to deliver an excellent level of serviceHave good problem-solving and decision-making skills, able to evaluate, prioritise and plan whilst responding quickly to changing workloadsBe confident and approachableBe highly organisedHave Import/Export experienceHave strong IT skillsHave logistics and warehouse experienceHave experience with customs documentationBe able to work in a team and have the ability to be self-sufficient.Have a minimum of 5 years' freight forwarding experience in sea freight.Be able to build customer and supplier relationshipsHave the ability to prioritise your workloadIf you have at least five years supply chain / freight forwarding experience and you are confident you are ready to move into a challenging role with exacting companies, this role might be the next exciting step in your career.
