Its a demanding, fast-paced role but also one where youll be truly valued, supported, and part of something that matters. The RoleReporting directly to the Chief People Officer, youll lead a small but dedicated HR team of 2 HRBPs and 1 People Partner.Youll be responsible for the full HR operational service across a multi-site, 24/7 business from employee relations and operational HR to policy development, recruitment, engagement, and L&D partnership working.This is an office-based role in Andover, with travel to sites across the UK (expenses paid). 2 days a week WFH can be agreed, but flexibility is crucial youll need to support teams working outside of standard office hours when necessary, and be visible to managers and teams on the ground. A car is essential. What Were Looking ForWe need a strong, credible HR leader who thrives in a fast-moving, people-focused business someone with emotional intelligence, commercial acumen, and high standards of professionalism.The ideal person will be: CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent) Experienced in a senior HR role within a demanding, multi-site, operational environment An expert in employment law, employee relations and HR best practice Resilient, calm under pressure, with a sense of humour and a pragmatic, firm but fair approach Empathetic and people-centred, but positively assertive, with the confidence to coach, influence, and challenge where needed Someone who leads by example, is loyal, discreet, and dependable with the trust and maturity to take full ownership of the HR function when the CPO is awayYoull need to be a chameleon able to adapt your style to suit different teams and managers, from operational to senior board level.
