You will inspire and guide the next generation of construction professionals by combining your industry experience with engaging classroom and practical teaching.________________________________________Key Responsibilities: Deliver theory and hands-on practical training aligned with modern construction industry standards Create high-quality, inclusive teaching materials and lesson plans Use diagnostic assessments to tailor support and ensure learners' progress Provide timely, constructive feedback to learners Track and report learner progress using learner management systems Support apprentices' development of core English, maths, digital and employability skills Engage with employers, assessors, and internal support teams to maintain consistent learning pathways Attend periodic reviews and ensure learners stay on track, offering intervention support as required Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment in line with safeguarding policy Maintain up-to-date industry and teaching knowledge through CPD activities________________________________________Required Qualifications & Experience: Level 3 qualification in Plant Mechanics or HGV with plant experience Recent and relevant experience in the construction or plant/HGV industry Excellent knowledge of modern industry practices and health & safety standards Minimum Level 3 Teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve within 12 months) Assessor Award (or willingness to achieve within 12 months) Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent in English and maths Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Strong communication and organisational skills________________________________________Desirable: Higher-level construction-related qualification Level 5 teaching qualification Experience delivering apprenticeship standards or working with awarding bodies________________________________________Other Requirements: Flexibility to work non-standard hours when needed Ability to travel with occasional overnight stays Full UK Driving Licence Enhanced DBS clearance________________________________________Ready to Make an Impact?If youre passionate about delivering high-quality vocational education, mentoring future industry professionals, and want to work for a respected and rewarding organisation wed love to hear from you.Contact Simon Atkins on 07894 752230
