You will lead the design, development, and stability of large-scale, business-critical systems for a global financial client.Key Responsibilities:Architect and lead enterprise-grade platform solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and securityDrive on-premise and hybrid cloud deployment strategies (Kubernetes/OpenShift)Collaborate with CTO, Product Managers, and cross-functional teamsLead and mentor engineering teams, ensuring high code and delivery standardsOwn performance tuning, troubleshooting, and system resilience initiativesRequired Skills:10+ years in platform/app engineering; 7+ years in solution/technical leadershipStrong in Java, Spring Boot, MuleSoft, Kafka, Oracle (SQL/PLSQL)Hands-on experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes, and middleware platformsProficient in APM tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamicsExceptional communication skills both technical and business-facingPrior experience in banking or financial services is highly preferredAbout Us:Ascendion is a global, leading provider of AI-first software engineering services, delivering transformative solutions across North America, APAC, and Europe.
