The post will become a permanent position after you have successfully completed the apprenticeship programme. Whilst completing your apprenticeship, you will be a band 3. Main duties of the job:The Nursing Associate apprenticeship role sits alongside our existing nursing care support workers, registered nurses, Allied Health Professionals, and medical colleagues to deliver hands-on care for service users. Once qualified, the nursing associate role is a gateway to becoming a registered Nurse via an additional apprenticeship. Qualifications required:You must have a health-related NVQ or equivalent at minimum level 2 AND level 2 functional skills (Maths & English). During the programme, you will be employed as a Band 3 within a clinical team. The specific location depends on the training posts available. It is not guaranteed you will remain in your current area. On successful completion of the foundation degree and End Point Assessment, you will be considered for a Band 4 qualified Nursing Associate post within our Trust. The programme is a full-time apprenticeship requiring a 37.5-hour work week. We welcome applications from current bank staff willing to shift to a contracted role.
