The role is Monday to Friday (or part-time minimum 3 days a week), with no weekends required and flexible days.The role involves visiting patients at home, testing hearing difficulties, establishing if they can be aided by amplified sound, delivering, fitting, and adjusting aids, and carrying out aftercare home visits.The successful candidate must have a sympathetic approach and empathy, as some patients will be elderly, frail, or suffering from dementia. A confident driver who enjoys being on the road is essential.
