Job Purpose To supervise and perform R&D operations, implement and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, and drive change to align operations with world-class standards. This is a lab-based role. Key Tasks Assist R&D projects by coordinating with production and engineering teams for the timely execution of trials and experiments. Interpret, summarize, and present results from literature searches and R&D experiments to management and project teams to influence development processes. Enhance the company's technical knowledge by staying updated on advances in inorganic and lithium chemistry. Participate in initiatives to apply industry standards and best practices for operational improvements. Collaborate with internal and external parties to identify techniques and tools for manufacturing and product development improvements. Engage in interdisciplinary projects involving Production, Product Development, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and Business Development. Coordinate with production, warehouse, and engineering to ensure scale-up trials are completed as scheduled. Ensure laboratory work complies with Health & Safety regulations, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards. Additionally, support will be provided to the Senior Development Chemist in other departmental activities. Knowledge, Expertise & Skills Graduate or higher qualification in a chemical discipline with experience in inorganic chemistry and product/process development. Strong communication, management, and leadership skills. Excellent organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
