Working 37.5 hours a week, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the medical team at Victoria.Gardens. From managing diaries and planning meetings to updating records, you will handle various admin tasks. As the Medical Secretary, you will work alongside Registered Clinicians assisting with confidential paperwork, service users' records, and GP letters. You will liaise with external agencies to obtain up-to-date information on service users and lead in recording blood test results. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.As a Medical Secretary, your responsibilities will include: Supporting the Registered Clinician with letters and documentation. Supporting meetings as minute taker, chaired by the Medical Director, SMT, or ad hoc. Typing, checking, and amending documents for spelling and grammatical errors within deadlines. Participating in the administration, development, and evaluation of regulatory matters. Coordinating the hospital diary and clinician whereabouts. Booking meetings and arranging conference calls. To be successful, you will have: IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Experience of audio typing. Strong communication and organizational skills. A minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent. Knowledge of mental health and medications. Location: Victoria Road, Huyton, Liverpool, L36 5SAYou will support a specialist locked rehabilitation service for people with complex mental health needs and behaviors that challenge, as well as a ward for older females. The role involves helping service users develop skills for community living and independence. The service adopts a recovery-based approach, incorporating elements of the Good Lives Model, supported by individualized interventions. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team including Nursing, Psychiatry, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, and Social Work.
