Responsible for goods in/out. To follow Laboratory Procedures and Work Instructions to ensure consistent and reliable results. Maintain equipment to ensure it is fit for purpose and organize/coordinate maintenance with contractors. To assist in the maintenance of the food/beverage laboratories. Ensure good housekeeping practices following cleaning schedules, GLP and GMP, maintaining a quality system of documentation. Work to a high standard of safety and cleanliness. To be responsible for own personal safety and that of people working in the area. Liaise with other departments to insure process interruptions are kept to a minimum. To undertake various Lab tasks as directed. To assist in maintaining stock levels. To prepare food/beverage samples as required for internal and external use. To coordinate and carry out analysis of samples including taste testing of finished product.
