Join our team as anInstallation Technicianand help deliver essential desktop hardware installation services to support our service delivery solutions. About the RoleAs anInstallation Technician , you'll be responsible for installing desktop hardware in a variety of environments. You'll unbox and set up devices at workstations, connect power and network cables, attach peripherals, and run basic tests to ensure everything is up and running smoothly. Your role is crucial in supporting IT build processes and ensuring a seamless experience for end users. Key Responsibilities:Unbox, position, and install desktop hardware at user desksConnect power, network, and peripheral cablesPerform basic power-on self-tests (POST)Initiate automated builds and perform basic scripted post-login configurationMaintain accurate records of installations and any issues encounteredFollow site-specific procedures and safety guidelinesWork flexible hours or shifts as business needs dictateWhat We're Looking For:Basic technical knowledge of desktop PCs and peripheral setupAbility to follow detailed installation instructions and checklistsComfortable working in active, user-focused environmentsStrong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindsetGood communication and team collaboration skillsWillingness to work variable shift patterns, including evenings or weekends if requiredPeople Source Consulting Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
