Salary £24,404-£25,183 Full Time Equivalent. Actual salary will be pro rata: Pro-rata salary: £17,992 approx. (this is subject to ongoing salary review) 30 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.45am -3.15pm to include insets Term time only plus INSET Fixed-term position (linked to SEND funding) to start 1 st September 2025 ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Headteacher, Governors and Board of Trustees are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work as part of our Inclusion Team as a SEND Support Teaching Assistant. This is a new role in our school and is an exciting opportunity for somebody who is passionate about inclusion and can champion inclusive practices. We are looking for somebody who puts relationships at the heart of all they do and is able to develop strong relationships, rooted in positivity and mutual respect, with children, staff and parents. This person will work closely with our SENDCO and become part of the staff team in our Resource Provision classroom as well as leading interventions and 1:1/small group support with pupils from our mainstream classes as well. We are looking for someone who: is passionate about inclusion and keen to become a champion for children with additional needs can work as part of our Inclusion Team and provide essential support and intervention for a range of children can work with class teachers in order to support teaching and learning can work with a range of pupils in our 10-place Resource Provision classroom and ensure personalised targets are met in line with guidance from professionals and EHCP documents. can work in mainstream classes across key stage one and two to support individual pupils with additional needs can support pupils outside of the classroom to deliver, monitor and evaluate the success of interventions can enthuse, motivate and engage children in all areas of learning has excellent communication skills and is committed to building positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff. is able to work effectively as part of a team will be willing to contribute to the broader life of the school community.
