Working 37.5 hours a week, you will work alongside the dedicated team at Emerald Place, a specialist CAMHS Eating Disorder service for children and young people aged 8-18 years. You will be part of an environment that emphasizes teamwork and empowers recovery, with opportunities for career growth. You will be responsible for delivering systemic family psychotherapy within the service, providing assessments and interventions to young people admitted to the ward and their families or support systems. You will support staff development, participate in training, consultations, staff support, and provide systemic input into the multidisciplinary team. You will receive regular clinical and professional supervision and be supported to develop your clinical and leadership skills. You will join a proactive Therapies Team and have access to a network of CAMHS psychological therapists across Elysium Healthcare. There are excellent opportunities for professional development. You should have experience in managing a caseload, including assessing clients with complex needs, supporting families, designing, and delivering psychological treatments within CAMHS Eating Disorder services. All applications must have a formal Family Therapist qualification. As a Systematic Family Therapist, you will: Provide systemic interventions for families of young people with complex mental health, learning difficulties, or developmental problems. Conduct risk assessments and formulate crisis and long-term plans for at-risk youth. Contribute to multidisciplinary risk management, care planning, and decision-making with systemic perspectives. Manage a complex caseload within a multidisciplinary team and facilitate groups like carer support groups. Monitor progress through regular reviews of systemic treatment. Engage with young people with diverse mental health needs, using your theoretical and practical knowledge. Support staff development through training, consultations, and reflective practice. Contribute to service development within the Therapies Team and wider service. To succeed, you will have: A Master’s or doctorate level qualification in Systemic Psychotherapy accredited by the AFT. Registration with UKCP. Experience working with adolescents and families with complex mental health needs in a CAMHS setting.
