Our stunning new home, Bridgewater Manor, is a purpose-built care home facility located in Worsley Village, Salford. The home is registered to provide care to 71 residents with various needs, including residential and nursing care. It meets all CQC requirements, ensuring safety, comfort, and high-quality care. The home reflects the New Care vision of providing the highest standards of safety, comfort, and care. We invest in the latest technology and offer a purposeful program of daily activities and gentle exercise to enhance residents' wellbeing. All team members are selected for their warmth and passion, with full induction and ongoing training from our in-house trainers and the New Care Academy. The home is rated GOOD in all domains by CQC. We have maintained zero agency usage for over 4 years by employing a permanent staff team to ensure continuity of care, with staff paid at or above the national living wage. We are seeking to appoint kind, caring, and compassionateCare Assistantsto join our team. You will deliver quality care to residents in line with agreed Care Plans and contribute to the efficient running of the care home. We offer full-time contracts with an hourly rate of £11.50. Shift times are 07:45-20:00, with alternate weekend working. Role Responsibilities: Deliver "hands-on" care to residents in a person-centred way. Support residents to enjoy a good quality of life. Model best practice when delivering care. Assist residents with their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in line with care plans. Contribute to daily records of residents. Work effectively within a team and undertake delegated tasks efficiently. Promote and safeguard the welfare of adults the post holder is responsible for or contacts. Skills and Experience Required: Experience at Care Assistant level in a care environment is preferable. Care certificate or equivalent, or willingness to achieve this within 12 months. Good knowledge of care practices relating to older people. Understanding of the 6 principles of care and their application in residential/nursing settings. Ability to work well in a team.
