This role involves acute Occupational Therapy assessment, rehabilitation, and discharge of patients from a hospital setting. Caseload will include complex manual handling equipment. Support is needed in areas such as general medicine and orthopaedic/surgery. Candidates at Band 6 or Band 7 level are considered. Essential criteria for this role: Minimum 6-12 months NHS experience in an acute setting, e.g., General Medicine, Elderly Care, Surgery. Candidates gaining NHS experience at Band 3 or Band 4 levels will be considered as Band 5. Occupational Therapy degree (MSc or BSc) and full HCPC registration. Availability to start within 2-4 weeks of confirmation and willingness to commit to at least three months.
