At our Gateside Road site in Nottingham, we are passionate about producing high-quality bakery products for our customers while continuously investing in our people and processes.About The RoleThe Operations Manager will lead operations across the entire factory, working cross-functionally with quality, safety, engineering, and production teams to ensure smooth operations and delivery of top-quality products. You will have a Shift Manager as a direct report and you’ll be hands-on in driving continuous improvement, managing risk assessments, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee full factory operations, ensuring products meet quality and cost standards Manage and support the Shift Managers to ensure consistent performance across 24-hour operations Lead risk assessments, training, and accident investigations Ensure quality issues are fully resolved and continuous improvement initiatives are implemented Build a culture of accountability, holding teams to high performance standardsAbout YouThis is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader with short shelf life food experience, excellent managerial skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
