Job summary UNLOCK YOUR BEST WORK LIFE + MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO EVERY LIFE We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Clinical Lead to join our Mental Health team working across 2 sites,HMP Foston Hall, a FemalePrison and YOI located inDerbyand HMP Sudbury, both are 5 miles apart in location. Working one day at Sudbury and 4 days at Foston Hall. Parking on both sites and logistically as this requires dual sites, ideally you must be a driver. Onsite training provided and Managers Development programme which is encouraged to join. Hours 37.5 hours working either 8-4pm or 9-5pm, Monday to Fridays. No weekends or nights. Occasional requirement to work weekends at Foston Hall but very rare. Salary This position is full time,youll receive an annual salary up to £55996per annum FTE - depending on experience. Main duties of the job As aMental Health Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will Work as part of and lead theMental Health team within the Integrated Healthcare Services team. Provide clinical leadershipand management to Registered nurses and allied health professionals. Establish inter-agency workingwhere necessary to ensure good communication increases quality of care for patients. Provide nursing triage and screening and assessment. Actively participate with the development of local operating procedures to ensure pathways are clearfor clinicians Nurse lead treatment or care within mental health Confirm waiting list are well managed ensuring minimal waiting times for patients Medicines management/advice including supporting medicine administration Maintain accurate documentation of assessment, planning and treatment of patients. Working closely with the Head of Healthcare ensuring that reports and other measures are accurately completed within deadlines. Qualifications required Registered Mental Health Nurse (Currently registered with theNursing & Midwifery Council) BSc or equivalent qualification Experience of providing supervision and or leading a team Teaching / Mentoring experience and /or qualificationExperience Evidence of appropriate continuing professional developmentactivity to maintain up-to-date knowledge and on-goingcompetence in all aspects of the role Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
