Solution Architect, MovementAs theSolution Architect, Movement , you will design and govern the solution landscape for new and existing systems, ensuring that our Technology solutions support our business landscape. You will provide hands-on architecture and design, aligning these with our strategic direction to future-proof Primark's Technology systems. You will collaborate with the Movement Tech team to ensure all solutions meet Primark's requirements and business cases. This role involves working closely with our technology partners on our depot investment programme. What You'll GetWe support our colleagues with benefits that prioritize your well-being and performance, including: 27 days of leave, plus bank holidays and the option to buy 5 additional days Flexible working arrangements, early Friday finishes, and a subsidised cafeteria Primark Perks — discounts with local partner businesses What You'll DoYour daily activities will include: Providing thought leadership in Solution Design, Product Architecture, and Technology strategy; creating cost-effective, scalable solutions; fostering innovation and efficiency Guiding multi-functional teams through project planning and large collaborations; promoting open communication and problem-solving Working closely with technology partners to implement solutions that meet Primark's standards, challenging the status quo when necessary Developing long-term technology visions; collaborating on technology roadmaps; researching solutions and recommending options to meet business needs What You'll BringWe value authenticity and key experience, including: A degree in Computing, Business, or equivalent Experience with mission-critical High Availability design in high-volume environments Managing complex integration projects under pressure Experience in Supply Chain solution design and management Understanding of Warehouse processes and systems (a plus) Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and team motivation abilities Ability to hold partners accountable and push back when necessary Knowledge of TOGAF and ITIL methodologies We encourage all qualified candidates to apply, even if you don't meet every criterion.
