Astin IT Solutions Birmingham, England Position Overview: Astin IT Solutions is seeking a creative and talented Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective designs to support our business applications and enhance our clients' digital presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their graphic design skills across various platforms and mediums. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the marketing and development teams to understand project requirements and objectives. Conceptualize and create high-quality graphic designs for business applications, including but not limited to websites, mobile apps, software interfaces, and promotional materials. Develop visual assets such as logos, icons, infographics, and illustrations that align with brand guidelines and client specifications. Produce engaging and user-friendly designs that enhance the user experience and drive user interaction. Stay updated on industry trends, design tools, and best practices to continually improve design quality and innovation. Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements into digital platforms and applications. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines effectively. Communicate and present design concepts, ideas, and progress to internal teams and clients for feedback and approval. Conduct quality assurance checks on final designs to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements. Collaborate with external vendors or freelance designers as needed to support project deliverables. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field. Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in a digital agency or software development environment. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools. Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques. Excellent creativity and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively. Experience with responsive design principles and familiarity with UI/UX design concepts is a plus. Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of graphic design projects across digital platforms and applications. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and project requirements.
