AboutAre you an experienced Mobile Sales professional looking to be part of a global organisation while selling at a local level? We are recruiting a Business Development Manager to be the Mobile Specialist for an established telecoms organisation. You will be responsible for achieving new business and sales targets. PurposeTo sell the business’s products, services, and future mobile propositions to the SME market in the Coventry, Warwickshire, and Northamptonshire area. As a leading telecoms company, we aim to maximise our potential in our customer base to become the No. 1 mobile supplier in the business market. RelationshipsWith Key Decision Makers (KDM) within the SME market, including Managing Directors, IT Directors, Sales Directors, and Finance Directors. You will need to sell to top-tier decision makers in organisations ranging from 5 to over 100 employees. Collaborate closely with your sales colleagues—14 desk-based, 3 field, 5 hybrid field, and 5 customer service colleagues—to support and achieve mobile sales targets. Build effective relationships with the service team to streamline sales order processes. Maintain a strong relationship with your sales team to proactively find opportunities for closing deals. Engage with the management team, including 2 Sales Managers, the Operations Manager, 3 Team Leaders, and a Managing Director, sharing common goals of overachieving targets and delivering excellent customer service. Also, work with internal departments and key support members to manage inbound customer calls confidently and accurately, ensuring issues are directed appropriately. ActivitiesThis role requires a highly driven individual with a strong work ethic, capable of making a high volume of outbound B2B business development calls to the SME market. Maintain and manage a prospect bank for mobiles, understanding your customers and prospects thoroughly. Key activities include: Making at least 75 outbound calls per day in a B2B environment to surpass sales targets. Booking at least 5 meetings per week for new business development. Working a minimum of 3 days per week in this capacity. Taking ownership of all targets and consistently delivering results with support from a Mobile Specialist.
