Transport Planner Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire JRL Environmental is part of the JRL Group, which includes 14+ divisions delivering bespoke solutions for complex construction projects. The company specializes in haulage and waste sectors, with a fleet of over 100 HGV vehicles and depots nationwide. We are seeking a Transport Planner with haulage experience due to continued growth. Role & Responsibilities: Schedule and allocate work daily across all collection modes (Skip, RoRo, and grab trucks). Monitor drivers throughout the day and take necessary actions to ensure timely completion of work. Use operational system (Weighsoft) daily to ensure all work is completed. Be aware of vehicle maintenance and repairs, reporting issues to the Head of Transport. Conduct driver debriefs for Trade Waste collections upon their return. Maintain driver records electronically and in paper format. Requirements: Excellent knowledge of the Greater London area and route planning challenges. Self-motivated with a friendly and approachable manner. Ambitious and confident with a 'can-do' attitude. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines professionally. Qualifications/Experience: Full driving licence. Transport Management CPC (advantageous). Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
