Opus People Solutions have an exciting opportunity available on behalf of Walsall Council for Customer Service Advisors to join their Contact Centre. As a Customer Service Advisor, you will act as a first point of contact for customers, enabling effective resolution of customer requests and delivering a service that encourages customers to self-serve more effectively. Your duties will include answering customer contacts through various channels, providing excellent customer experience, maintaining accurate records, providing clerical support, and taking payments in accordance with council rules and regulations. We are looking for individuals who are helpful, understanding, and empowering, delivering a responsive and transparent service. Suitable candidates will have proven experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing office environment. Previous call centre experience is preferred. Experience in Benefits or Council Tax roles is advantageous.
