Stores covered include: Slough, Cowley, Reading, Woking, Newbury, Camberley, and additional stores within a reasonable commuting distance. Working as a Cover Store Manager for Deichmann, you will be offered a competitive salary of£30,500 per annum . This is afull-time, permanent positionrequiring full flexibility to work across the week. Our Cover Managers are considered high potential managerial talent and are on a fast track to store management roles. After initial training, Cover Managers gain understanding of store operations by providing managerial cover across a cluster of stores and must be able to travel within a defined geographical area. Upon completion of training, Cover Managers are well-positioned for promotion to Store Manager. Key activities include:Motivate and coach the team to deliver excellent customer service. Lead by example in promoting and upselling products. Draft rotas in line with payroll budgets. Manage stock levels. Analyze sales figures and reports. Ensure all company standards are maintained, including merchandising and administration. Work towards targets and achieve KPIs. Assist with recruitment and team development. Personal characteristics:A hands-on leader with retail or related industry experience. A positive, flexible approach with a can-do attitude. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Motivational, coaching, and inspiring skills. Strong communication skills. Methodical, organized, with a structured work approach.
