In this role, you will lead day-to-day IT service desk operations, support IT systems across networks, infrastructure, and hardware, and play a critical role in ongoing and upcoming projects. You will work across the organisation, supporting users and ensuring a robust IT environment that meets cyber security, compliance, and performance standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day operations of the IT Service Desk. Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support, including hardware lifecycle and infrastructure. Act as an escalation point for technical issues. Manage IT documentation and maintain up-to-date technical support resources. Own and manage asset lifecycles and ensure adherence to IT policies, especially regarding cyber security. Partner with project teams to transition projects into BAU support. Identify team skill gaps and lead improvements and training plans. Work with business users and external vendors to deliver IT projects. Skills and Experience 5+ years of technical support experience. Proficient in Microsoft Server 2016–2022, Office 365, and Windows 10/11. Proven success in delivering IT projects on time and within budget. Strong documentation and technical process improvement skills. Knowledge of cyber security principles. Experience in stakeholder engagement and communicating technical insights at executive level. Comfortable managing 3rd party service providers. Desktop support experience is desirable.
