As a member of the ACP team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and investigations related to child protection issues. The role involves working closely with Experienced Social Workers to carry out statutory assessments, which includes conducting home visits, collaborating with other professionals and agencies, gathering relevant information, and analyzing potential risks to children and young people. Upon completion of the assessment, cases are either closed or transferred to the Long Term Locality Teams.Responsibilities:Conduct assessments and investigations related to child protection issuesCollaborate with Experienced Social Workers to carry out statutory assessmentsConduct home visits and consult with other professionals and agenciesGather information for assessments and analyze potential risks to children and young peopleClose cases or transfer them to the Long Term Locality Teams after assessment completionRequirementsRequirements:Recent/relevant previous experience working within an Assessment and Child Protection TeamAbility to attend the office for 1 full week out of 4 for duty week, and 1-2 days the other weeks#J-18808-Ljbffr
