To thrive in this role, you will need to: Confidently interact with external contractors to coordinate repairs seamlessly Work collaboratively with the team, understanding the importance of quality service Sustain high energy levels, juggling tasks while maintaining efficiency Assist the management team in maintaining store operations by caring for equipment and facilities Minimize customer disruption by coordinating repairs with minimal impact on customers Responsibilities will include: Ensuring all Tesco sites are safe and functional environments for customers and colleagues Following the planned work schedule to achieve first-time fixes, improving efficiency and effectiveness Working closely with team members, sharing best practices and knowledge Performing general day-to-day store and property maintenance Using mobile devices such as phones and tablets to drive work completion and updates Representing the Tesco brand by demonstrating core values—serving customers, communities, and the planet a little better every day—maintaining a positive attitude, and taking pride in wearing the Tesco uniform Attending local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture #LI-JL1 You will needAs a vital part of our Maintenance team, you should demonstrate enthusiasm for maintaining high standards. Previous experience in maintenance, engineering, or construction environments is preferred. You should also be digitally confident, able to use a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails.
