Job Details CompanyJob DetailsEnvironmental Health Officer Apprenticeship – 2 Posts AvailableWe are offering an exciting opportunity to start your career in environmental health through our four-year, earn-while-you-learn apprenticeship programme. This role combines practical, hands-on experience with academic study, leading to a fully funded degree in Environmental Health.As an apprentice, you will work closely with our experienced Environmental Health team, gaining real-world experience in areas such as food safety, housing conditions, pollution control, and health and safety. You will carry out inspections, assist with investigations, and engage with local businesses and residents.You will be expected to manage your own case load and attend Wolverhampton University one day a week as part of your studies.We’re Looking ForHighly motivated individuals with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in protecting public health and the environment For this apprenticeship programme applicants are required to have Maths and English GCSE grade 4/C or above and to have achieved one of the following admission conditions: A Levels - grades CCC or above (predicted grades may be considered) BTEC Extended Diploma – grades MMM or above Access to HE Diploma (60 credits) of which a minimum of 45 must be at Level 3 (96 UCAS point equivalence, minimum 45 credits at merit) A full driving licence and access to a vehicle, as travel across the borough is required.What We OfferA structured training programme leading to a professional qualification.
