Social network you want to login/join with: Position: Sponsorship Sales Executive - Business DevelopmentAs a Sponsorship Sales Executive within the Business Development team, you will play an integral role in delivering sales results for TEAM’s clients as well as expanding TEAM’s network and market knowledge. The main objective of the role is to secure sponsorship agreements for our clients’ properties. Your responsibilities will include: Providing marketplace knowledge to the department by gathering client-based industry data and staying up to date on new trends, brands invested in the space, and evolving consumer habits. Supporting in identifying relevant categories and prospects, defining property- and brand-specific narratives, outlining opportunities to up-sell current partners, and building demand for the respective properties. Compiling comprehensive background analyses of prospective sponsors and their industry sectors. Creating market-leading sales materials for identified target brands and incumbent sponsors, including information gathering, defining key sales messages, and structuring presentation decks. Setting up meetings with target brands and attending and participating in certain sales meetings. The candidateYou have experience or can demonstrate a keen interest in sponsorship sales across the sports and/or entertainment industry. A good understanding of major players, competitors, and market trends within the industry would be an advantage. It is important that you can efficiently support the team in selling and negotiating and are capable of building trusted relationships at all levels – both with clients or target brands and internally at TEAM. Experience in qualifying leads, generating appointments, and working to deadlines is essential. You should communicate effectively, present ideas with ease, and understand the importance of delivering high standards. Proficiency in MS PowerPoint or similar design software is a plus. Your team-player attitude and proactive approach will help you contribute new ideas and add value to both the team and clients.
