Here at GXO, we are currently on the search fora Nights Transport Plannerto join our team on the Greene King contract in Trafford Park, Manchester. You will be responsible for route planning across our northern sites in Manchester and Livingston. This is a full time, permanent position working any 5 nights from 7 with the hours of 20:00 – 04:00. Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of £30,000 per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day: Manage the transport operation including briefing and debriefing drivers, monitor drivers’ hours ensuring legal compliance is maintained Manage the Service and maintenance requirements for our fleet You will deal with customer issues and monitor drivers progress, updating the customers as required What you need to succeed at GXO Experience of working in a transport environment Knowledge of transport legislation, driver hours and tachograph Customer service background ideally with exposure to Warehouse Management Systems Strong communicator both written and verbal with attention to detail National / International CPC would be advantageous, but not essential We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
