First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic International Defence business that is looking to recruit aCommercial Training Manageron a permanent basis due to growth. The role is based twice a week out of Chatham, with occasional UK travel and the option to work from home.As aCommercial Manager (Training Support) , you will have a role that is out of the ordinary. You will enable the fulfilment of the contract deliverables under the training support services. Day to day, you will be responsible for providing commercial and supplier management to the training support contracts.Duties and Responsibilities:Lead/support any changes on Training contracts including lifecycle and new infrastructure worksLead/support negotiations with the customer(s) on contractual issues where requiredLead/support supplier management of sub-contractorsLead/support commercial projects across the wider Training Line of Business where requiredNegotiate/Manage Confidentiality Agreements, Teaming Agreements and Consultancy Agreements where necessaryProvide appropriate governance guidance to the Training contract teamsSkills and Qualifications:Track record of leading and supporting multi-million contracts and contractual changes with MOD customersExperience and knowledge of best practices and government processesExtensive commercial background in multi-disciplinary environments covering the full life cycleAbility to translate the impact of negotiated terms on P&L and risk to deliveryCreation and maintenance of relationships with key internal customers, external suppliers, and stakeholdersExperience in infrastructure and facilities management contractsPosition Details: Reference:MB494: Commercial Training ManagerLocation:Chatham, Kent, with occasional UK travelSalary:£68,000Working Hours:Monday to Friday (37 hours per week)Additional Benefits:Generous holiday allowance, matched contribution pension scheme up to 8%, life assurance, employee share scheme, shopping savings portal, payment of professional fees, 10-day paid leave for Reservists, holiday trading, and 'Be Kind Day' for volunteering.#J-18808-Ljbffr
