Closing date:Midnight 8th July 2024 Interview date:17th July 2024 Main duties of the jobYou will support daily clinical activities alongside the dental nursing team in either undergraduate or postgraduate departments. Excellent communication skills, motivation, and the ability to work independently with support are essential. Your responsibilities include working with our stock controller, placing stock orders, supporting stock control, and learning about dental materials, equipment, and stock maintenance. You will liaise with the sterile services team to ensure timely equipment returns. If not already trained, you will have the opportunity to complete phlebotomy training to take blood samples. Coordinate with Dental Sisters on budget and stock issues. Person specificationExperiencePrevious healthcare assistant experience in hospital or care setting. Customer care experience. Experience taking clinical observations. Education/QualificationsGCSEs or equivalent. NVQ III in Healthcare or equivalent. National Care Certificate. Additional InformationManual handling skills.
