IntroductionInterested in this role You can find all the relevant information in the description below.We are recruiting for a talented Project Engineer to join our clients Engineering and Technical Solutions team based at Dungeness B power station, with occasional business travel to other UK sites. A background of working at Power Stations and Nuclear Licensed Sites is preferred but not essential. Proven history of working within highly regulated environments with high safety standards is advantageous.Please note this client does not offer VISA sponsorship, only candidates with full Right to Work in the UK and relevant experience will be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesProducing and maintaining project engineering documentation including quality plans and technical specificationsManagement of technical queries in accordance with relevant processes and proceduresSupporting the process of contractor selection and contract placementTechnical reviews of contractor documents and drawingsConducting technical appraisals of project optionsPerforming feasibility studies, site surveys and liaison with designers and station engineering staff as requiredPrepare Engineering Changes and manage the preparation of supporting and affected documentsCommissioning documents and act as test team leader where appropriateSupporting the Project Manager and Construction Manager in managing the project and ensuring the work is conducted in a safe, timely and effective manner to its conclusionQualifications and RequirementsChartered Engineer or HND Plus with experience in electrical engineeringSite Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualificationCandidates that hold a formal project management qualification and are versed in modern project management techniques, including project stage gates, preferred but not essentialExperience of Identifying, implementing, and complying with applicable safety, environmental and quality standards, company procedures and policies and other relevant legislative and regulatory requirementsKnowledge and experience of delivering construction projects under CDMIdeally experience in managing and delivering electrical power systems design and installation projectsEffective communication and organisational skillsSalary and benefits55K - 60K per annum plus excellent benefits package.Company DescriptionOur client is a global leader in advanced engineering and innovative technology solutions uniquely positioned to tackle the worlds most complex engineering challenges.Apply NowIf you are an experienced Electrical Project Engineer, we encourage you to apply today!
