A well-established, family-run food manufacturer based in the York area is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join its small, dedicated technical team.Applying for this role is straight forward Scroll down and click on Apply to be considered for this position.Please note, this role is over 4 days and permanent weekend work Saturday-Tuesday, 7-4pm. Key Responsibilities:Perform analytical testing and quality checks on incoming raw materials and finished productsMaintain accurate records and documentationSupport process improvement and NPD activitiesConduct hygiene monitoring and uphold lab safety/cleanliness standardsLiaise with production, technical, and process teams to ensure quality expectations are metIdeal Candidate Will Have:Previous lab or QA/QC experience, ideally within the food manufacturing sectorUnderstanding of laboratory testing methods and food safety protocolsA science-based qualification (degree, HND, A-levels) or equivalent experiencePlease note, we are only considering candidates that currently live within a commutable distance to site.
