My client is looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team, working on large-scale solar projects across the UK and beyond. If youve got a sharp eye for electrical design, a solid understanding of engineering principles, and a passion for renewable energy, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities: Develop electrical designs and perform detailed engineering for large-scale photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects Create data systems to enable monitoring, remote operation, and adherence to regulatory standards Liaise with regulatory bodies, grid operators, and internal engineering teams to ensure project alignment Assess and approve technical documentation from both in-house teams and external consultantsSkills: Degree in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline Hands-on experience with utility-scale solar PV projects; BESS experience and familiarity with the UK energy sector are advantageous Skilled in using AutoCAD and PVsyst for design and analysis Confident communicator with the ability to challenge suppliers and contractors constructivelyIf this role suits your experience, then please apply or reach out to r.franks@pipermaddox.com
