This is a key role with a strong focus on setting out and groundworks, supporting critical early-stage construction works.Key Responsibilities:Accurate setting out for drainage, foundations, formwork, and utilitiesEnsure work is delivered in line with design specifications and quality standardsDaily site briefings, progress reporting, and QA documentationCoordinate with site managers, subcontractors, and design teamsMonitor HSEQ compliance on siteRequirements:Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or related disciplineProven experience in groundworks and setting out on major civils/infrastructure projectsCompetency with Total Station/GPS surveying equipment and CAD softwareStrong understanding of CDM and temporary worksValid CSCS and ideally SMSTS/SSSTSWhats On Offer:Competitive rate up to 350/day (Inside IR35)Long-term contract on a high-profile rail infrastructure projectOpportunity to work with an experienced team on a technically challenging programmeIf youre an experienced Site Engineer looking to join a flagship UK infrastructure project with strong support and long-term potential, apply now to discuss the role in more detail.
