The role can be based at any of the following sites: Barrow in Furness, Bristol, Brough, Portsmouth, Weymouth, Frimley or Coventry but offers hybrid working and flexible working hours (individual circumstances can be discussed). The successful candidate will be joining the Combat Systems team and will provide support to the Engineering Manager and/or external specialists during development, analysis, integration and verification of Combat System and its sub-systems. The Principal Electrical Design Engineering primary role is to develop the electrical system architecture for the Combat System and work with the WB Electrical teams to deliver a suitable system design. The Principal Engineer shall act as the CS lead for all electrical aspects of the Combat System level design.
