Youll take charge of the QA team, oversee internal audits, troubleshoot non-conformances, and keep systems running smoothly. This is a hands-on role where no two days look the same so if you're someone who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys leading by example wed love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the QA team coaching, rota planning, and performance reviews Oversee audits, food safety checks, and GMP compliance Drive product quality through effective monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement Own and update food safety documentation, SOPs, and training materials Liaise closely with production and hygiene to ensure top-tier standards across the site Take the lead on data analysis and trend reporting you'll know whats happening before anyone else does Support internal training and help embed a culture of quality across the businessWhat Youll Need:Essential: 1+ years supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment Level 2 Food Safety and HACCP A hands-on attitude with the confidence to coach and support others Strong understanding of food safety legislation, audit standards and GMP Proficient with Microsoft Office and databases (especially Excel) Ability to analyse problems, find root causes and take action Great communicator with a sharp eye for detail and excellent organisation skillsThis is a fantastic opportunity to step into a visible, impactful role with a food manufacturer thats serious about quality and team development.
