Our client, a reputable subcontractor specialising in Joinery, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in their office in Essex. This is a great opportunity for someone with sector knowledge in joinery, drylining, flooring or ceilings.Is your CV ready If so, and you are confident this is the role for you, make sure to apply asap.Key Responsibilities:Manage the commercial and contractual requirements across multiple joinery packagesPrepare and submit interim valuations and final accountsAssess subcontractor accounts, variations, and paymentsMonitor costs against budget and report commercial performanceAttend site meetings and liaise with clients, project managers, and site teamsSupport the tendering and pre-construction process when requiredRequirements:Minimum 3 years experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, coming from a subcontractors environment.Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts.Excellent numeracy, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to manage multiple projects independently.Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant QS software.Relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.Based in office or on siteQualification is Quantity Surveying is an advantage.
