Based in Manchester, this role involves providing design consultancy, managing client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities:Client Management: Ownership of client relationships and defining the scope of works.Collaboration: Working closely with other engineers to ensure designs meet quality standards and regulations.Project Oversight: Managing the preparation of mechanical designs, specifications, drawings, and reports.Sustainable Solutions: Promoting sustainable design practices in all projects.Mentorship: Supporting and mentoring junior team members.Continuous Improvement: Staying updated with industry trends and identifying new techniques to enhance technical standards.Requirements:Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the industry with a strong understanding of British Standards, Building Regulations, and industry best practices.Technical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical ventilation, heating and cooling services, and the use of drafting software like Revit and AutoCAD.Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational skills, and a proactive, can-do attitude.Qualifications: Degree or Higher National Qualification in a Building Services related subject.
