With our Party Wall services in high demand, we are now seeking an experienced and driven Party Wall Surveyor to join our expanding team.Check below to see if you have what is needed for this opportunity, and if so, make an application asap.Why Join EMI?Be part of a forward-thinking consultancy with a collaborative team culture.Work on diverse residential and commercial projects across London.Enjoy a flexible hybrid working modelwork from home with regular site visits and office-based collaboration.Receive a competitive salary, performance-based bonus, and professional development support.The RoleAs a Party Wall Surveyor, you will provide expert advice under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996, and guide clients through a range of neighbourly and boundary matters.You will: Party Wall ResponsibilitiesReview architectural and structural drawings to identify notifiable works.Draft and serve Party Wall Notices in accordance with the Act.Prepare, negotiate, and agree Party Wall Awards.Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed Schedules of Condition. Neighbourly & Boundary MattersDraft and negotiate access agreements (e.g., crane and scaffold licences).Research title documents, boundary lines, and rights of way.Provide technical advice on easements, access rights, and potential disputes. Technical & Project OversightMaintain up-to-date records, trackers, and correspondence.Review construction methods and monitor site progress where relevant.Represent the firm at client meetings, site visits, and networking events to support growth.About You ExperienceMinimum 2 years of experience in Party Wall surveying, including Schedule of Condition reporting. Technical SkillsIn-depth knowledge of the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.Strong grasp of building methods, property law, and neighbourly matters.Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); AutoCAD experience is an asset. Personal AttributesClear and confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.High level of attention to detail and critical thinking.Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively.
