The successful candidate must be adaptable, have a strong and consistent management approach to managing external consultants.Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist in the production of layouts and technical reports for Land Appraisals; and required working drawingsAssist in the briefing and commission of site investigations, topographical survey and other assessment reports on land acquiredBrief engineering consultants on scope of design, which includes roads sewers private drainage, retaining walls, foundation designs any other substructures below DPC level either private or adoptedAssist in the Initial negotiations/enquiries with statutory bodies and utility undertakers on environmental, drainage, highways and other engineering issues when appraising landIssue engineering information to Commercial, Construction and Sales departmentsAssist in Fee negotiation and appointment of consultantsAnswering Technical queriesComply with responsibilities as laid down in the Groups Health, Safety and Environment PolicyWhat experience do I need?Ideally qualified to HNC level or equivalent in a civil engineering or building-related discipline with some residential project experienceBy way of technical experience you will be conversant with current building regulations and CDM you will also have a thorough knowledge of current EA/LLFA/Water Authority/Highway regulations and adoption agreementsMust have excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and be able to communicate effectively with both internal departments and external bodiesYou must be an enthusiastic and hardworking individual who is willing to undertake all necessary trainingBefore submitting your application, please take a moment to review our privacy policy, which is available on our corporate website, which will detail how we will process your personal data.
