Were looking for a skilled HVAC Engineer to join our collaborative, multi-disciplinary operations team and help maintain mechanical systems that support critical infrastructure.This is a hands-on engineering role, working with state-of-the-art mechanical and HVAC systems in a fast-paced, safety-first environment. Youll play a key role in keeping our systems running efficiently, safely and reliably and youll be empowered to share ideas, solve problems and take ownership of your impact.What youll be doing:Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, mechanical and plant systems including chillers, boilers, compressed air systems, pumps and steam equipmentUse BMS, CMS and other systems to monitor, optimise and log system performanceWork with the maintenance team on site walk-throughs, risk assessments and permit-to-work processesLiaise with internal teams and contractors to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality outcomesAct as first responder to any issues affecting critical systems, helping to resolve and learn from incidentsSupport planned and reactive maintenance schedules with documentation and continuous improvement in mindWhat were looking for:A qualified engineer with at least 4 years post-certification experience in mechanical/HVAC environmentsConfident working independently or as part of a team in a high-integrity environmentSomeone who brings a proactive, problem-solving mindset and a desire to grow their expertiseStrong communication skills and experience in customer-focused or regulated settingsEssential qualifications and experience:HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentF-Gas Cat 1 (City & Guilds)Professional certification such as NCC or REC (or national equivalent)Legionella awarenessExperience maintaining HVAC systems in complex or critical environments (data centre experience a plus)What we offer:The opportunity to join a growing, forward-thinking company at the cutting edge of digital infrastructureA supportive environment that values safety, inclusion, and professional developmentStructured progression and access to ongoing training and mentoringAt Pure DC, we value difference and welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds and identities.
