This position involves contributing to major Inspection Qualification projects for nuclear energy programmes in the UK and Europe. Key Information:The role is not full-time but will be ongoing over the next two yearsWork will be planned in advance and delivered in week-long blocksSome international travel is required (France, Spain, Germany)Responsibilities:Invigilation of Procedure Trials: Witnessing inspection vendors demonstrating NDT equipment and procedures using representative test piecesInvigilation of Personnel Trials: Supervising and marking written exams and ultrasonic data analysis exams involving blind automated dataFingerprinting Test Pieces: Using advanced ultrasonic techniques (PA / FMC) to generate digital fingerprints of test pieces, including procedure/report writingCandidate Requirements:Proven experience in automated ultrasonic inspectionsPCN Level 3 in UT (Level 2 with strong experience will be considered)Knowledge and hands-on experience with advanced UT techniquesAble to work in Warrington and travel to client sites across EuropeSecurity cleared to BPSS level or eligible to obtain clearanceAble to operate as a contractor outside of IR35
