They are a team of experienced professionals who collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure the highest standards of design and safety.Right now, they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fire Engineer to join their team, either in their Leicester or Wakefield office. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the fire safety of projects, from initial design through to completion. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and high-profile projects, progress your career, and build your own team.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement fire safety strategies for various construction projects.Analyse and ensure designs meet current codes of practice, providing bespoke solutions to unique fire engineering challenges.Conduct fire risk assessments and provide recommendations for fire safety improvements.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate fire safety measures into building designs.Ensure compliance with relevant fire safety regulations and standards.Provide expert advice on fire safety issues to clients and project teams.Lead and mentor junior fire engineers.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Fire Engineering or a related field.Experience in a consulting environment.In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Professional accreditation (e.g., CEng, MIFireE) is highly desirable.What's on Offer:Opportunities for professional development and career progression.A collaborative and supportive work environment.The chance to work on innovative and impactful projects.
