Location: North East England Hours: 45 per week Sector: Water / Infrastructure Salary: Competitive + benefits (DOE)We are supporting a major water infrastructure framework in the North East, part of a long-term investment programme worth over 600 million. As part of this expansion, were looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team.Key Responsibilities:Lead commercial management across NEC contracts from tender to final accountPrepare and manage accurate monthly cost reports, forecasts, and valuationsCollaborate with client and internal teams to ensure effective commercial deliveryManage subcontractor procurement, payment, and final account negotiationIdentify and manage commercial and contractual risksSupport value engineering, change control and claims processesEnsure compliance with contractual requirements and commercial proceduresRequirements:Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity SurveyingChartered or working towards chartered status (RICS or CICES)Strong NEC contract experiencePrevious experience in utilities, water or infrastructure sectors preferredProficiency with cost systems, reporting tools, and risk managementFull UK driving licenceThis is an excellent opportunity to join a major infrastructure programme with long-term stability, interesting technical challenges, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the utilities sector.
