Location: Enfinium Kemsley, Kent Full-time | Competitive Salary + Excellent BenefitsPlay a critical role at the heart of Enfiniums state-of-the-art Energy-from-Waste (EfW) facility in Kemsley.As an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (E,C&I) Engineer, youll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, integrity, and performance of all electrical, control, and instrumentation systemshelping us transform waste into sustainable energy while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance. What Youll Be DoingBased at our Kemsley facility, this role is pivotal in ensuring safe and efficient operations. Youll work closely with the Maintenance Manager and plant teams to deliver expert-level maintenance, fault-finding, and optimisation work across a range of high-voltage and control systems.Key responsibilities include:Managing the full lifecycle of E,C&I assets including reactive, preventative, and condition-based maintenance.Maintaining and optimising critical equipment including DCS, SCADA, PLCs, HV/LV switchgear, and instrumentation across turbines, boilers, and supporting systems.Troubleshooting complex electrical and control faults to minimise downtime.Ensuring strict compliance with site safety systems and procedures, including LOTO, RAMS, PTW, and CDM regulations.Supporting the development and implementation of maintenance strategies, system upgrades, and capital projects.Contributing to continuous improvement across plant performance, safety, and environmental compliance. What Youll BringWere looking for a skilled and safety-conscious engineer with strong analytical and fault-finding capabilities.Essential Qualifications:HNC/HND (or higher) in Electrical, Electronic, or Control & Instrumentation Engineering.IOSH or NEBOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) safety qualification. (Desirable)Experience & Competencies:Practical experience in E,C&I maintenance within a power generation, process, or heavy industrial environment.Strong working knowledge of HV/LV systems, instrumentation, PLCs, DCS, and SCADA.At least 2 years experience supporting outage planning and execution.Proficiency with CMMS systems and project tools such as MS Project and Excel.Familiarity with CDM regulations and a drive for continuous improvement.
