This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader to take charge of operations across two key sites.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee production activities at both facilities, ensuring consistent performance and output.Take ownership of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across production.Support and drive the development of production staff, focusing on performance, training, and engagement.Ensure products are manufactured and delivered to meet customer expectationson time, to spec, and at the right quality.Maintain highly organised, clean, and efficient working environments with clear controls and compliance to internal and external standards.Promote continuous improvement and operational efficiency through lean manufacturing principles.Ensure all legal and regulatory Health & Safety obligations are met across both sites, including for visitors and contractors, supported by comprehensive risk and COSHH assessments.Candidate Requirements5 years experience in a manufacturing environmentExperienced in a leadership or supervisory positionExtensive LEAN manufacturing experienceDemonstrated success in meeting production targets while improving quality, cost-efficiency, and productivityExperienced in implementing 5S methodologiesConfident using key performance indicators to monitor results and implement changesespecially using clear, visible, shop-floor metricsWorking knowledge of ERP/MRP systemsSkilled in managing departmental budgets, including labour, materials, maintenance, and capexUnderstanding of quality systemsStrong grasp of health and safety practices in manufacturing, including COSHH compliance and risk managementThe PackageSalary: 45,000 55,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
