Our client, a well-established and dynamic construction business, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team at their Leicester head office.In order to make an application, simply read through the following job description and make sure to attach relevant documents.Key Responsibilities:Provide commercial leadership and oversight across a portfolio of over 50+ live projects.Supervise and support a recently appointed Quantity Surveyor, while collaborating closely with the wider Contracts and Estimating departments.Work closely with and report directly to the Commercial Director, with ongoing collaboration on strategic commercial decisions.Attend monthly Directors meetings to deliver commercial reporting, raise issues, and contribute to operational discussions.Ensure financial efficiency, risk management, and contract compliance across all live projects.Candidate Requirements:Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within the construction sector.Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external clients.Leadership qualities to mentor junior staff and support wider team development.Package & Benefits:Competitive salaryMileage reimbursement for travel to client meetings and site inspections.20 days annual leave plus bank holidays.Office closure over Christmas with additional paid leave (not deducted from holiday entitlement).Enrolment into the companys NEST pension scheme.Discretionary bonus schemeThis is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded construction professional looking to join a thriving and supportive company with a varied and exciting project pipeline
