This newly created role forms part of the organisations growth strategy and focuses on clinical governance and the leadership of a well-established Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) team.This provider supports younger adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and complex behavioural needs across a range of community services. They are in a strong period of organic growth following several acquisitions and are now seeking a senior nurse leader to strengthen governance processes and elevate clinical practice across the group.This role offers a clear and exciting progression path, with succession planning in place to develop into a Director of Supported Living post.Location:This is a hybrid position requiring travel across services in Essex, with home or office-based work. The head office is located in Colchester, making the role commutable from Chelmsford, Ipswich, Braintree, Southend, Cambridge, Basildon, Romford and surrounding areas.Criteria:Registered Nurse (RNLD, RMN or RGN) with valid NMC PINBackground in specialist Learning Disability or secure/forensic care settingsStrong understanding of PBS frameworks and their practical applicationPrevious experience managing geographically dispersed clinical or PBS teamsIn-depth knowledge of clinical governance, incident management and regulatory complianceConfident working across multi-site services and collaborating with senior leadershipResponsibilities Include:Strategic oversight of clinical governance across services and drive quality assuranceLead, support and develop a specialist PBS team (Practitioners, Lead and front-line staff)Act as clinical escalation point for complex case reviews and incidentsEmbed PBS practices and lead a culture of continuous improvementSalary and Benefits:70,000 75,000 per annum (dependent on experience)Annual bonus scheme of up to 6,000Enhanced annual leave entitlement - 28 days plus the 8 bank holidays (34 total)Opportunities for structured career progressionInterview Process:Informal virtual introduction with a member of the SMTIn-person service visit and team introductionFormal panel interview exploring clinical leadership and service improvementContact Details:To apply or for further information, please contact Lijani Cherry at Compass Associates on 02394 211 143 or email lcherry@compassltd.co.uk.A candidate information pack including the full job description is available upon request.Compass Recruitment Solutions Ltd is acting as a Recruitment Consultancy for this permanent vacancy.
