We enable change, encourage challenge and demonstrate commitmentMain responsibilities:You'll design and develop cutting-edge electronic systems and play a key role in taking products from concept through to real-world deployment.This role is predominantly on-site, offering flexible working based on project needs and hands-on time with real hardware in our fully equipped lab and workshop.Youll: Define and develop robust, scalable electronics systems for complex electro-mechanical and optoelectronic productsCollaborate across disciplines (mechanical, software, systems) to shape system-level solutionsAct as a technical authority within the Research and Development team, mentor Junior Engineers and review designsSupport production through DFM, DFT and troubleshooting activitiesEngage with supply chain to ensure continuity, manage obsolescence and introduce new technologiesInterface with external labs to meet regulatory and certification standards (EMC, environmental etc.)Support international customers with technical queries and field issuesWhat were looking for: High attention to detail and a commitment to quality in everything you doStrong background in electronics / hardwareProven experience delivering production ready electronic systemsConfident in schematic capture, PCB layout, system diagrams and hardware debuggingPCB design capability with hands-on skills (e.g. soldering, rework, prototype assembly)Technically curious and creative with a passion for solving real-world problemsSelf-motivated, self-driven and able to work independentlyExcellent at organising your own work and managing time effectivelyA clear communicator who thrives in collaborative team environmentsWhat youll get: The autonomy to lead diverse project teams across exciting, real world technical challengesThe opportunity to help shape ground breaking productsWork on meaningful, technically complex problems with real impactExposure to international environments and cutting edge innovationsA culture that rewards initiative, curiosity and ownershipAs a small, high-performance team (with approx 60 people), we offer the opportunity for a professional to have autonomy and responsibility.
